Feifei was born in Hubei, 1994, and now lives in Chengdu, China. He is a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design at the Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Conservatory of Music. He has been practicing art photography since 2014. Feifei is a person who likes freedom, a dramatic individual who is constantly drifting around the edge of contemporary dreams and the reality of life.
Is my work erotic or pornographic? I don’t care what others think. Naked is just a form of expression. Human being is born naked, and we should focus on something more complicated than the flesh. Being misunderstood is the fate of an expresser. If everyone understands you, how ordinary would you be?
Feng Feifei
In his works, nude, scene, and light are his photography languages. The soft body, under his lens, shows a grotesque drama. The lines of the body are the core of his picture, and the texture of the skin is the color and texture of the picture. Violently tears apart the face, an unobtrusive nakedness reveals the instinct of human, the contradiction and absurdity hidden behind mourning and alienation. His work is taboo, but it is illusory as well. He used beautiful body to make his own utopia, a black hole filled with glamorous caves.
